These sheep and shepherds are roaming the land in search of a little greenery. This is Thasrak, the legendary village on which OV Vijayan modelled his renowned novel 'Khasakkinte Ithihasam' (The Legend of Khasak). Khasak of the novel and Thasrak the prototype were both replete with palm trees and the rustle of winds. Now there is hardly a palm and very little greenery left in Thasrak.
